And, shouldn't it be about service and not about making money ??? I realize that

you need money to operate, but it seems that these guys sometimes forget what

they are in business for.

Of course, until such time as the transit authorities are off the public (insert derogatory term here for taxpayer support), that question is moot.

As was indicated in the excess mechanics thread, service often doesn't seem to be the objective, anyway (or is at least 3 or 4 down the priority list). This is the government.
