This was a suprise!!! I never saw one of these workhorses disabled.  Eastbound #152 Addison near Hermitage Ave. was Bus #6066.  A short time later, a hook came and hauled the bus away.  I have a digital camera, but I was too afraid to take a pic to put on here with all the "No Transit Photo" rules that I hear about.  Question for Zolk, how are you able to get the pics you have?  Do the CTA personnel or Chicago Police give you a hard time about doing it, or do you ask permission first?

The CTA or CPD can't stop you from taking photos of buses provided you're on the public way (sidewalk, street, etc.).

Furthermore, personal photography is permitted on CTA property provided you're not using a tripod or any other equipment. More information is available at Chicago-L.org.

I agree RIPTA42 don't be afraid of taking pictures. I take them all the time when I go out and most of the time the drivers arent even paying attention to me. and like everyone has said CTA does not have any photo restrictions so shoot away I do
