sw4400
Are garages helping each other out during this weekend event? I saw two DE40LF's under a LSD overpass parked. The signs said "Thanks For Riding" or "Welcome Aboard" ~FLIP~ "Your CTA". The run nubers are what caught my eye... particulary #809. Run number I saw was 5307("5" indicating Chicago Garage). I'm assuming this is just temporary, or has Chicago Garage got a few 40-Foot Hybrids?

I'd venture to say temporary just from going on the fact that half of Kedzie's assigned routes have no weekend service at all, thus a lot more buses are freed up on the weekends. It basically how Kedzie is able to park its 6000s on weekends.

Chicago had 32 extras on the #72 and Kedzie and North Park had a total of 28 extras on the #151 for both Saturday and Sunday for the Air & Water show. I did see on WGN two 800 flyers at Lollapolooza(hope its spelled right) as cooling busses last weekend
TMC-RTS-08
I rode #4000 on the 151 Saturday from Michigan Ave to Lincoln Park. The detours and traffic made this trip take 40 minutes. One of my friends rode his bike from the Ohio Street Beach to Lincoln Park, he made it 25 minutes quicker than we did.
