jesi2282
I was looking at some bus photos on Bustalk.net, and there were a pair of Ex-CTA Novas owned by New York's MTA, the buses were in the CTA colors with the logo taken out. Did the CTA sell Novas to the MTA?
Kevin
Those two buses are owned by MTA Bridges and Tunnels and are used to transport traffic directors at bridge approaches. They were built using CTA specs (including the same colors), but were never intended for the CTA.
Busjack
Any idea about the one at hopetunnel.org at Skokie Shops? Could it be what's left of 6700? From the label on the box in the other picture, it looks like it may now have the same function as the BT buses.
RIPTA42
I've been wondering the same thing; wish I paid more attention to the builder's plate. I thought the new BT buses were NABIs, but I could be mistaken.
