The usual thing is to paint SCRAP and DEFUELED in the "graffiti font," and haul them to the scrap yard. The only time there may be a question is the few sold to the fire department or the food vendor, in which case it probably is the question whether the city or CTA painted them. Similarly, Pace only blacks out its logos when it sells buses. It will be fun to see what they do in about 7 or so years when the blue ones are sold. Why? Do you think you'll be able to pick up a 7500? Quote
