I haven't been over there in about 20 years, but the el structure has the same green paint scheme that I remember from even 33 years ago. Even the el structure along 10th Ave looks the same as I remember from 33 years ago. IIRC, Chicago had a similar paint scheme on its L structure in the late 60s and early 70s, but went silver, and now tan, with dark brown downtown. Busjack Posted August 13, 2013 Report Share Posted August 13, 2013 Probably as good a place as any: The Sun-Times blog notes that on the CTA agenda is making the Quincy station accessible. I wonder if they will use scroll gold leaf letters on the up and down buttons on the elevator? Update: From the actual agenda, it is TIF money.
