NewFlyerMCI Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 Let me tell you now, with the highest price for gas in Panama City being $0.81, everything else that needs it gets cheaper. Bus is $0.25, metro is $0.35. Also, whenever the 6400's breakdown, Panama City has the Diablos Rojo's (Red Devils), imported American school buses to help increase capacity. While every bus looks like it rolled out an episode of Pimp My Ride, these buses must surely be cheaper than anything we can get from Mike's School Bus Emporium . The white buses with an orange stripe are the regular buses (the Red Devils are mostly used on intercity routes that have 90 minutes or less of travel time). Also showcased are some pics of the Panama City Metro. Designed to help allieviate traffic, the trains (19 in total) come in a conjoined set of 3 (you can freely walk between all the cars). The platforms are long enough to accomdate 2 sets of the trains (they currently run one set). They currently run only one set now until they procure more trains. The ride is very smooth and nearly silent (not counting ambient noise from the passengers) especially compared the 2600's in the Blue Line tunnels. 4 1 Quote

strictures Posted June 3 Report Posted June 3 I'm assuming that when you quoted the gas price that was 81¢ per liter, which is more like $3.20 a gallon then? 1 Quote
Glennwood Road Ent. Posted September 4 Report Posted September 4 Found one of the videos on YouTube by Timosha21 about the buses and trains in Panama City, Panama. BTW, I postponed my cruise ship vacation to Panama City Panama until next year September and I will go on a cruise ship elsewhere in the Caribbean. Quote
