busfan2847
At Union station today I came across a series of RTA Local Transit Maps that I had not seen before. Dated November 2016 there are maps for Lake-McHenry Counties, Elgin-Northwest Cook, Northern Cook, Aurora-Naperville, West Cook, Joliet Area and Southland. They seemed to have all except the Joliet Area map.

Basically zoomed in versions of the system map with an additional layer to show dial-a-ride boundaries.

The north Cook suburban one seems accurate (for a change), but doesn't reflect the new I-90 routes.

The maps are dated November 2016. Logically, they should have waited a month to include the I-90 routes, but this is an RTA project that probably wasn't well coordinated with Pace. I do think the maps are a good idea, especially for Pace riders who seem to be the "target audience". Previously there was only the full system map and the individual route schedules. Now there is more information in one place for local riders, such as the dial a ride boundaries and service hours for each route. The Pace to Metra connections section is also helpful.
