strictures
I was waiting for a NB Purple at Howard, around 11:25 AM, Saturday morning. We left Howard, went maybe a hundred yards & stopped. We sat for about 10 minutes. After several announcements we would be moving shortly, we didn't move. Finally, the operator came on the PA & said she was switched to wrong track. We finally started & did we head north, NO! We went onto the Howard turnaround Loop & back to the platform at Track 3. We sat for a minute or so & then headed out north to Linden. When I got off at Linden, there wasn't a visible run number at the head end cab, it was turned over. I don't know, is this the first train with actual paying passengers to go on the Loop. I'm not including fan trips or specials?
Busjack
There was an alert that there were switching problems on the Purple Line. Looks like you got stuck in it.
MTRSP1900-CTA3200
Probably not, unless Red Line operators kick people off the train in addition to the announcements before using the loop. When I was a kid the Blue Line used that loop at Forest Park and one time my dad and I rode to and from Harlem on the loop!
