TaylorTank1229
Here is some noticeable changes that the new pilot schedules seem to be working with: •UP-N: Weekday inbound rush trains will be alternating between starting at Highland Park & Waukegan/Kenosha, every 5-30 minutes south of Highland Park. During off-peak hours, inbound trains will operate every 30 minutes south of Winnetka, and continue operating every 60 minutes north of Winnetka until about 7:30pm. Outbound trains is pretty much the opposite, running every 30 minutes alternating terminus points between Winnetka & Waukegan from its first train at 5:30a to its first PM rush train at 3:00p. Then trains run it terminus between Highland Park & Waukegan/Kenosha until 6:30p. •BNSF: Seems their definitely adding extra weekday rush trips. No surprise there, as it is one of the busiest lines in the Metra fleet. More inbound AM trips, as well as extending the final inbound weekday from 8:20p to 11:00p. Outbound gets more PM rush trips running anywhere between 5-20 minutes terminating at either Brookfield, Fairview Ave., or Aurora. Final trips times have also been extended to as late as 12:30a. •Heritage: One added trip in both directions. 1 inbound train from Joliet at 5:45a, and one outbound from Chicago at 3:25p. I thought there used to be one outbound that leaves Chicago at 5:55p. Guess that one isn’t coming back soon. North Central: 3 extra trains in both directions. 2 of those trains will begin/end their trips at Buffalo Grove. Some of the other lines don’t have too many significant/noticeable changes as the ones I listed, others like the Metra Electric are just so damn long and I’m just too lazy to go through all of that right now. ? So if you think there anything else to add, feel free to comment.
