Can't get past the paywall but I think 24 hour service on the Orange Line is a great idea and long overdue.   The original reasoning for not having 24 hr service was because it was cheaper to operate the owl service on the 62

I would think that CTA won't cut the bus owl service  especially because the N62 serves the U of I corridor on Halsted

Since the line serves Midway airport I think this is a good idea to make it 24 hours just like the Blue Line

wonder if this will be a short turn to roosevelt for the red line transfer or the full kitten caboodle

most likely the whole way into the loop to facilitate connections with the blue line and the night bus hub at washington/state

You sure it's a paywall and not just email registration? It's suntimes so it should be free.

Y'all make some good points but the Roosevelt-Halsted routing isn't too far from N60 which is basically doing the same thing but going to Harrison so you can kinda justify cutting that part. Of course making it take the daytime route is just going to duplicate the Orange Line as far as Brighton Park, either revise N62 to run Harlem to 35/Archer or make 47th and owl route then you can get rid of N62 completely

Someone else mentioned Orange Line stations not being as accessible to walk up passengers. They got a point south of 35th/Archer

especially western. the median between 2 four lane roads is not an ideal location for pedestrian access.
