Reading the article, it doesn't sound like ABC is targeting the "sweet spot" in the market, unless it thinks Sean Duffy is going to stay in charge of US DOT in perpetuity. The topic sentence is: "North American bus and motorcoach distributor and service provider ABC Companies has launched COR Transit, a new U.S.-focused heavy-duty transit bus brand, with a 40-foot diesel bus targeted for prototype activity in 2027 and first deliveries in 2028." No mention of at least an advanced hybrid or electric bus, even though NF, Gillig, and ENC advertise multiple propulsion systems.  While it says Van Hool has a battery bus, it also said Van Hool went bankrupt and it apparently picked up some of the assets. Maybe they think COR will be another Neoplan USA, but that didn't work out so well. Then it says: "The company appointed former Proterra CCO John Walsh as Chief Commercial Officer in 2026." That doesn't look good, either.

I might have underestimated ENC, but this doesn't look promising.
