sw4400
Last night, I was on the #11 Lincoln route, and tuning from Damen west onto Irving Park was a 40' GM Fishbowl. I'm not sure if it was an ex-CTA, but the livery was close to the 9000 series photo found on www.busdrawings.com The roll sign at the front looked like it might've said "Watertower" or "Quincy", but I didn't get a very good look at it(my bus was about 5-6 cars from the corner). RIPTA42
There was a 35' Fishbowl in the neighborhood around 5:15, and again close to 1:00, but not in CTA livery...
RIPTA42
The bus in question:
sw4400
That was most likely the bus I saw. From a distance, it looked a little like it was a former CTA bus. Is this some private tour bus or just a bus somebody bought and drives around town occasionally?
Busjack
If it is a 35 footer, it definitely is not former CTA. Might be one of or similar to one in the CHBM collection (922 or 928).
RIPTA42
It's 928.
