jesi2282 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Today I found WB-13 sitting on Willow St. Here are some pics I took. Sorry pic 1 is a little blury. Quote
Busjack Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Interesting that it has WB-4 scratched on the front. Also, if one can trace license plates, one would know its original fleet number (unfortunately CTA doesn't use vanity license plates like Pace does). Quote
Danielsmusic Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Check out my pictures of WB-10 on Hudson. http://web.mac.com/danreiner/iWeb/Site%202...20Pictures.html Quote
busfan2847 Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 M07 293 (WB-13) was 4911 from my records. I do not have any record of M102 484 (WB-10), however I do not have registrations for 4902, 4903, 4912 or 4913. Alan Interesting that it has WB-4 scratched on the front. Danielsmusic Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 If anyone's interested in the 4900s, GO TO WELLS AND LAKE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! CTA's doing work on the Brown Line loop feeder, and there are FOUR 4900s BELOW THE L TRACKS!!! I got pictures on my iPhone, and I'll be putting them up on my site in about five minutes. There, we have WB-10, WB-11, WB-12, and WB-13. GO CHECK IT OUT! Quote

WB-10 = 4913 WB-11 = 4907 WB-12 = 4914 - "WB3" written on front WB-13 = 4911 - "WB4" written on front Quote
pace Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 I'm kind of confused I know that the bus is one of CTA's 4900's series, but what does (WB) whatever number mean? Quote
jajuan Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 I'm kind of confused I know that the bus is one of CTA's 4900's series, but what does (WB) whatever number mean? WB stands for work bus in this context. (As opposed to the familiar Warner Bros from Hollywood contexts). Quote
