i think it's great but it think the X79 could be same like the local but with limited stops (ex. damen, ashland, stony island, jeffery, cicero)

just letting you all know the 103rd garage might stay active because the #30 which was originally on the cuts list is now on the remaining routes so 103 will have 16 bus routes left

i said it before in another thread, 103rd got the remaining 6000's in 2003 (6074-6097) and 15 from kedzie this past year (6000-6002, 6004-6014, 6070)

no 103rd was the first to get them, then lawndale (replaced by chicago ave.), Forest glen and archer got the last ones an in 1994 some 5300s were temporarily transferred for some 4400 series (when they were non conditioned) to distribute equal distribution of air conditioned buses through system

Well 103rd'll have 14 routes if the cuts happen and will stay open in my view

that 6000 from 103rd that has the home depot that's #6002

i was lucky to ride one on the #51 (back when they terminated at drexel square) the number was #575X or #576X, it was in '99 with my mom

if these cuts happen what kinds of bus series that'll still be in service

The South Side'll still have he #6 Jackson Park express

yeah busjack if they do happen the only buses we'll be seeing are the 1000's, 6400's, 7500's and 500's

77th has the #95W and 103rd has the #95E

While i was at the 103rd Garage yesterday i saw NovaLFS #6609 come out with the sign "100 EXPRESS". is 103rd getting NovaLFS Buses or did archer do a fill in?
