South Loop and N201 changes

When I looked at Bustracker yesterday around 5:30 pm, I did notice that when I click on a stop, it listed one approaching bus as "to 35/Archer Orange Line" and the one before it as "Western Orange Line". I don't remember specific bus numbers, but I wonder if that means the signs on specific buses weren't reprogrammed to refelct the new north terminal or if it was just a Bustracker glitch.

What you mentioned was a Clever Devices issue.

Did you click on route progress to see if charts were generated with a pull down for the route variations?

Basically, as cta44499FG indicates, you have to see the sign itself to determine if it is a sign issue. The Clever Device only controls the sign to the extent that it tells the Luminator controller to put up sign A132, for instance. Whether A132 says to Western or 35/Archer is governed by the programming of the Luminator controller.

One can also note that destinations on BusTracker don't match the exact wording on bus destination signs (i.e. 55 to Museum and Science and Industry, instead of 55 to 57th-Museum; 20 to Washington and Wabash, instead of Washington-Mich, unless the headsigns recently changed, as they did twice on 36).

Although, for some strange reason, the Sunday 20 schedule has a time point at Monroe and Wabash.

Yes. Eastbound #77 Belmont buses on Bus Tracker read to 'St. Joseph Hospital'. All other signage along the route shows the terminus as 'Lake Shore / Diversey'.

(The buses do lay over in front of the hospital.)

I have to admit I didn't think to pull up the route progress screen. The map itself showed the new terminal at Western/Orange line with no stops north of 47th.

On a related note I did see a few #36 Broadway NF's today that still show CONGRESS as their destination instead of HARRISN/WELLS, so obviously not all of the signs have been reprogrammed yet.
