T8H5307A
I was digging through some of my older photos and decided to share these. This is ex cta 7802. Do you remember how about far back you took your photo? I notice long time former Sheriff Sheahan's name is displayed on the side. (Sidepoint: I wonder how much money goes into removing a local politician's name from government property after he leaves office.)

At the very least you know theyre still around, too bad the CFD version was scrapped.
mikeymc77
There are marker lights added next to the destination sign. Any idea why?
PACE 834
There are marker lights added next to the destination sign. Any idea why? Those would be strobes used while responding to emergencies. Also,on top of the air conditioner is a green strobe used to identify a command vehicle location while on the scene of an emergency. You know what would be cool if the cta could order new buses with the old model such as the fish bowl bus or the M.A.N buses ( well in my opinion the new flyer 1000 series bus resemble the old M.A.N bus) but back to what I was saying they should do the same thing with the rail fleet bring back the 2000 series train just with modern updates. That would be nice to see.
