Some Union people like in the ATU the Owns the CTA makes sure that all workers employed there are educated, licensed and keeped up to date with continuing education too! Some union people do have integrity and not all bone heads. You have 10 Managers @ each location, 5 in Transportation and 5 IN THE Maintenance..the company does not need all these chiefs back in the day CTA did not have managers II administration Managers let alone Project Specialist!! It is time for a change ,and the exec VP'S retired do not fill those spots and after that a chief operating officer got fired, 800.00 thousand went missing. more non union employees got fired it just make you go hummm i hope Mr. Rodriguez is investigating, We need to save Union jobs!!! it is the Bus/Rail operators and the clerks and the Supervisors who do all the work!!! Bring back the foremans position!!chief operating officers all over the system, i realize employees like to move up within the company but how could you when you get pushed back down!! the Union protects jobs!!! I feel for the disabled and the seniors but revise do the research to see who all can and cannot afford, and the students. they need there Education they are the future leaders hollywood wrote: Not saying that he/she should be a Graduate, but there are H.S. students that might want to work for the CTA, and they are the future why cut the student"s fares as well, let alone service.
