No. The WMATA 5000-series cars were not built by Bombardier. They were built by a Spanish-American joint venture and delivered between 2001 and 2004. Quote
Busjack Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Sources say CAF. Apparently, Frank Kruesi's people didn't design the interiors. From the press release, appears to be a brake fire, and like the CTA, apparently they have communications problems in the tunnel, but unlike CTA, at least admit it. Quote
