Heads Up! 2200 Series Private Charter Sunday

Cameras ready....here's a "Heads Up." There will be a private charter of the CTA 2200s on Sunday (rain forcast). Sorry, I don't know the scheduling or routes.

The charter left Forest Park at 0915 bound for Ashland/63rd via Morgan Middle. I caught the charter going NB on the Green line over the Dan Ryan Expressway, six cars!!!! with about a dozen riders plus the crew.

No, there was about 30 or 35.

Even still, that's awfully low for a charter. Either the charter sponsor must have some deep pockets for a joyride, or the fare for the charter was ridiculously high.

Tangentially related to this thread;

I was at IRM Monday (8/27/2012)and one of the volunteers said IRM will be getting some 2200s. :)
