jesi2282
Has anyone heard of PACE routes #222 or #567? A few days ago I saw an Orion VI sitting next to Allstate Arena, the bus sign said: 222 Allstate Arena, also has anyone heard of PACE route #567? Buslover88
There is no such Routes...I check on PACE's Website....that's some Werid Stuff
MetroShadow
222 is the supplement for the 221 Wolf Service that goes to the allstate arena. Just like 284-Great America isn't listed and 779 Roundtripper-Oakbrook isn't listed either. and 567 is a waukegan route.
Busjack
Or at least was a Waukegan route (got canned when it couldn't enter the Naval Station after 9/11; was the Naval Station to Gurnee Mills route). Didn't know about 222, but makes sense (and is included in the list of routes in the ADA Regional Plan, which I had previously posted). If you look at Chicago Transit and Railfan's Suburban Bus Routes History, you will see that RTA or Pace used all sorts of numbers between 205 and 1027 at some time or another. I know someone who thinks that the Northbrook Court bus is still Nortran 212. BTW, the Regional plan also lists 475 and 476 Ravinia, which I thought was just Pace lending Highland Park some old buses.
Buslover88
So #567 USED to be a Route? And I did not know about #222 and #779.
