busfan4022
Today i saw two New Flyers at 77th garge, they were parked outside. Anyone know why? They were the 5800 series.
Buslover88
Either they needed to get Fixed or it's there New Garage.
busfan4022
Yeah, if they needed to get fixed. Why so far down south?

brucejdetw
The CTA's South Shops maintenance bus facility is located right next to 77th Garage. It's the place where all the major rehabbing of buses occurs. Individual garages handle the light repairs, such as changing oil, replacing mirrors, etc. Major repairs get sent to South Shops. This is why you'll see buses of all types sitting around the garage.
MetroShadow
They're getting fixed, no doubt.
Busjack
They're getting fixed, no doubt. So they won't have puppies (or kitties)?
RIPTA42
Too late... The question is, is it really more cost-effective to nurture them to full size rather than simply procuring new buses?
MetroShadow
So they won't have puppies (or kitties)? Judging from the pic above, the fixing is happening AFTER they gave birth :-p
