BusHunter
So now Nova has a contract for 11 electric buses for the east west brt in milwaukee. Seems like they are getting all the contracts all of a sudden. Looks like it will use overhead chargers too. I wonder why no charging pads? Has there ever been novas in milwaukee before. They have always had new flyers no?
Tcmetro
They actually started buying Gilligs in 2019, but Nova's will be a new addition. It looks like electric Novas are only running or on order in Montreal, Vancouver, York Region ON, and Brampton ON. Milwaukee will be the first US customer of the electric LFS. NewFlyerMCI
https://www.1011now.com/prnewswire/2021/10/27/nova-bus-unveils-its-new-long-range-100-electric-lfse-bus-north-american-market/ Seems like these buses are getting an upgrade before delivery. Wouldn't be surprised to see some of these slink down to Chicago, especially given Proterra's massively delayed delivery schedule and CTA & Nova's comfy relationship

New Flyer should worry if Nova comes up with an electric version of its artics.
