A new player in town...Nexum Bus Corp...check out their website.

  1. You didn't provide a link.
  2. Googling it, it is Nexus. Correct the title.
  3. Yeah, I checked out the website. It reads like the Millennium Transit website, except it says even less.
  4. Someone at ctdb says he "contacted their head of sales and he said their goal is to build a 40ft unit that would be "10,000lbs lighter, deliver in half the time (13 months vs 24 months) and be approximately 15-20% less expensive" than competitors. They're using marketing images from Turkish manufacturer..." Sounds like another @East New York, except at least he was pawning off an RTS. I hope you are not that "head of sales."

There is no there, there.

Are they a bus manufacturer? What am I missing here?

Click the cpdb link in my prior post. Apparently some sales rep created a webpage. I don't think you missed anything.

  • MetroShadow changed the title to Nexus Bus Corp.

Pulling from the forums:

We'll see, but I wouldn't put money on it yet.

Trying to do some research.  Someone in Canada contacted their Sales VP.  Apparently this isn't a Millennium Transit revival.   This seems to be a Turkish bus model, but it isn't the Otolaryngology.  I don't know what design they plan to use.   But it looks like if they do actually build buses, they will be done in Florida  which would make them compliant with Buy America.

To be drawing some interest in Canada makes it intriguing but without demonstrators of actual product makes them a very very ling shot.  I don't know if they would be any more successful than the aforementioned Millennium Transit.

The above demonstrates that the discussion is not being advanced.

I mentioned Millennium    only for the point that a website does not make a company. At least people here reported seeing an RTS Express, and they delivered a couple of pieces of instant junk to NJ Transit.
