Nabi 7702 Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Has anyone seen any 1991 Flxibles on any Chicago or 103rd Garage routes?

Nabi 7702 Posted July 5, 2007 Author Report Posted July 5, 2007 I saw bus #5473 on the X54 Cicero Express at the Jefferson Park Blue Line Station today. I also saw a Flxible on the 66 Chicago heading eastbound to Navy Pier but I couldn't make out the bus number.
RIPTA42 Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 I've seen several on Pulaski and one on a Clark Street run out of Chicago Garage. FWIW, Kedize Garage has been putting a lot of them on Kimball/Homan as well.

Nabi 7702 Posted July 6, 2007 Author Report Posted July 6, 2007 Does anyone have any recent pics of 5300 series Flxibles?
Nabi 7702 Posted July 6, 2007 Author Report Posted July 6, 2007 I've seen a few 5300s running on the 14 Jeffery Express and the X28 Stony Island Express.
Buslover88 Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Does anyone have any recent pics of 5300 series Flxibles? I have one of #5569 on #76 Diversey on June 20 of this year
Nabi 7702 Posted July 7, 2007 Author Report Posted July 7, 2007 I have one of #5569 on #76 Diversey on June 20 of this year Have you seen anymore 5300s operating out of Chicago, Kedzie, or 103rd garage recently?
rmadisonwi Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Why do you keep asking that question? Kedzie, Chicago, and 103rd all have 5300s in their fleet, in service. Therefore, anyone who's driven, ridden, maintained, assigned, walked past, driven past, or stood and watched a 5300 has seen one recently.
Nabi 7702 Posted July 8, 2007 Author Report Posted July 8, 2007 Why do you keep asking that question? Kedzie, Chicago, and 103rd all have 5300s in their fleet, in service. Therefore, anyone who's driven, ridden, maintained, assigned, walked past, driven past, or stood and watched a 5300 has seen one recently. I'm asking because I'm a big Flxible fan (and Nabi) and I just want to know what numbers of the 5300s series are still in service. They will all be gone in the near future and I will miss them dearly. I also want to know on which bus routes they mostly operate on so I could catch a ride on a 1991 Flxible for the last few times.

As you've been told countless times, they operate on routes assigned to Kedzie, Chicago, and 103rd. They're not that difficult to find. I've seen many of them on Diversey and Fullerton over the past few weeks.
