jajuan
In this thread, I posted a picture of bus #1233 in service on route #77 Belmont {albeit still with a "K" sticker in its windshield}. Bus #1201 will most likely not be going to Forest Glen; as this picture will illuminate. It has the Titan electronic ad panel. I agree with pudgym on this one sw. The remaining 1200s still at Kedzie are pretty much the titan buses. If FG were getting them, it would already have them instead of having gotten the 1190s as the most recent ones displaced by artics. With the most recent artic (I have my specs on this time so no arctic mistype this time) shuffle having also started concentrating on getting the southside artic garages back up to decent levels FG is likely to get just a few more buses, if any, from Kedzie. NP and Kedzie, Kedzie especially, are pretty much back at pre-NABI fiasco levels so I think the future shuffle to fit in the rest up to 4207 will concentrate on 77th and 103rd, more likely 103rd since that garage got more lower 4100s in the last shuffle. I can see an outline of www.transitchicago.com in the back, and unless they have retrofitted that text on these buses, only #'s 1430-2029 have either www.transitchicago.com or transitchicago.com on them. A number of pre-1430 NFs were indeed retrofitted with the website addresses along the upper side panels. #1201 is among them. A few Novas have them, too --- not many, but a few. That is indeed 1201. It has a red and black bike rack along with the titan sign in the photo that pretty much proves that the hidden digits in front of the 0-1 are 1-2. 1701 has a standard ad sign and newer yellow and black bike rack if that's what you're thinking it could have been but is not. 1148 (now at 74th), 1193 (now at FG), and 1201 are 3 1000s other than the 1630s that had the www.transitchicago.com decal applied at Kedzie.
sw4400
The Dance of the Buses has commenced once again! After eyeballing 1242 on Irving Park a short time ago, I gave BusTracker a quick scan. It looks as if a three-way switch is in progress involving Forest Glen, 77th, and Chicago Ave. : 1234-1243 77th to Forest Glen 1308-1317 Chicago Ave. to 77th Ten unknown 6000s Forest Glen to Chicago Ave. (educated guess). As I write, 1308-1310 are still operating from Chicago Ave., so they'll probably be migrating soon. Regarding the 6000s, I guess we'll know more one way or another come Monday unless one of the Chicago Ave. crew on this board spots something sooner. Somehow, I think this post is better here...
