I was in Atlanta back in November, and I was able to get alot of bus photos of 3 of the transit systems in Atlanta Area, MARTA, Gwinnett County Transit, and Cobb Community Transit. If I got the bus maker or model wrong, please let me know, thanks, I also took photos of buses in Augusta, Ga, and in Columbia, S.C which I will put on here later today.

2216 doesn't appear to have a CNG tank on the roof, even though it is in the same series as 2116 (according to reports). Optical illusion, or something else going on?

Thats what I was trying to figure out, but I been looking it up, and it was showing it as an CNG bus, but I really dont think that is an CNG bus

R.I.P 1989 TMC RTSes from Cobb Community Transit amd Flxible Metros from MARTA.

I was told by a buddy of mines who lives in ATL that CCT just recently retired their 1989 TMC RTS buses. I guess that MARTA retired all their Flxible Metros, but I love their Orion VIIs along with CCTs 2002 Nova RTS buses.

CCT did indeed retired all of there TMC buses, when I was at the Marietta Transfer Center, all of the CCT buses are parked just south of the terminal, and I did not see not one TMC Bus, just Novas, new flyers, and coaches.

MARTA is converting most of there bus fleet to have CNG buses either from Orion or from New Flyer.

One thing that MARTA trains got, that CTA trains don't have is TV monitors, it use to be called the Rail Network, but now CBS brought the company, and renamed it the CBS Outdoor Rail Network.

It is like the Transit TV that went bankrupt earlier this year, that was on pace, and MCTS buses

Here is two pictures of some MARTA Rail Cars that I took while I was in Atlanta Also.

According to the CPTDB MARTA wiki roster* 2191-2238? are diesel.

*Normally I don't trust a Wikipedia as a source, and therefore this should be taken with a grain of salt, but these rosters are maintained by transit fans who do their best to have accurate info.

To go further afield, not all Wikis are Wikipedia. This one is clearly a Canadian bus fan source. However, the picture makes it pretty clear that 2216 is not a CNG.**

________

**The tanks were hidden in the Toronto Orion VIs, but I don't know of any instance in the VIIs.

Chicago Suburban PACE buses does have TV monitors on most of their fleet buses but In a past year or two, they stopped operating them for I don't know what reason was. I doubt it if CTA's future 5000s trains are going to have them.

You missed the posts in the thread that Transit TV Network went bankrupt.

There was some talk about the 5000s having information screens, but I don't know if that was one of the proposed Huberman enhancements that subsequently got the can.
