geneking7320
I noticed some retired buses in the background of the story about the wrapping of CTA buses [like 8499 for example]. Where was this filmed? My guess might be 77th garage. Gene King
greenstreet
I'd guess Chicago garage -- looks like one of the newer, brighter garages. Also, the wrapped bus they showed (1058) is assigned to Chicago.

Guest
If you look up the Michelle Branch/Carlos Santana video "Game of Love" They used CTA #8499 in the video. The video looks like it was shot in Pilsen. The Budd 2200s also make a cameo.

Busjack
Chicago Garage... BTW, since it was mentioned that it was 8499, and previously that Kedzie doesn't have the room to store its own buses, not to mention the historical fleet, has the historical fleet been moved to Chicago? Guest
I remember when I was working at Kedzie back in 1997, they had all three historical buses stored there at the time. Plus, a GMC and a Flyer work bus and later just before I transitioned to North Park in 1999, there were two 9400 GMCs stored at Kedzie in excellent shape, only the seats were pulled out of them. I wonder if these buses still exist. One was exCTA #9400, the other bus unknown.

It's quite possible since the only non-revenue buses I really see there among all its NFs are those ex6000s still parked in the south lot since going out of service back in February.
