Bus1883 Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 1760 appears to be officially retired, drove past it down Perry while the engine was running Quote
YoungBusLover Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 Well it appears we are down to the final 10 Allison's in service, so get those final rides in while you can. #1982 and #2001 haven't been active since early Oct and are presumed to be retired. A true end of an era, those Allison transmissions were powerful on take off. The only thing I won't miss is the bowling alley seat design. 😅 #1932 (NP), #1950 (C), #1957 (C), #1962 (C), #1967 (C), #1975 (C), #2006 (C), #2012 (C), #2019 (C), and #2025 (C) Quote

Found a pic of #1937 at one of the New Flyer factories including this one in Minnesota. Not my pic but credits to the original owner. I’m pretty sure the entire orders 1000-2029, 800-809, 900-909 and 4000-4207 were made between multiple factories across the country instead of all in one facility which explains how they were delivered so fast compared to Nova. I know for a fact the 900s were made in the New Flyer facility in Canada. While the 800s I believe came from the one in Dakota. Not entirely sure. Quote

The total is still 12. 1 Quote
