Should be able to steal or duplicate the recording of Damen from either the Blue or Brown Line.   The only reason to re-record would be  add an announcement for the United Center

As has been posted many times, all announcements are combinations of snippets, not a complete script. They'll just get a "Damen" that matches whatever they use on a 5000 with "is next" "Doors open on the" "left" "at."

Guys getting old, makes sense to at least use the current announcement for Damen why not make it the same as the blue and brown lines?

The question is whether what is in the box for a 2600 works for a 5000. But, as I noted earlier, that really isn't necessary yo answer.
