BusHunter
Came across an interesting article on facebook about Trimet's attempt at rebuilding an artic and 3 diesel 40 foot buses as electric. If it could work it would serve as a cheaper option for an electric bus. I'll post a picture but the whole article as well as pictures can be accessed on trimet's facebook page. geneking7320
What about Complete Coach Works conversions? Check out the 'Electric Bus Conversion - Jay Leno's Garage'
busfan2847
The picture appears to be outside the Complete Coach Works (CCW) base in California. Indianapolis has had some CCW rebuilt Gilligs for a few years. They are 40'. The TriMet might be the first 60' conversion.
Erin Mishkin Jr.
That would be a very cool idea to save some buses. Hopefully this plan works and it’ll be friendlier to the earth buses
