How about no more beat up buses getting dumped at Kedzie and try holding assignments stable while fitting what small number of 4000s and 1000s remaining where needed. I like the Cummins Flx's and all but they were never rehabbed. Quote

On the rehabbed 6000s, the exterior was repainted, LED brake lights were installed, new seating covers were put in and you could hear the difference in how the engine sounded compared to pre-rehab. With the Cummins, the only noticeable difference is the front destination sign. Everything else was pretty much the same.. Quote

They all went to Archer with some going to Forest Glen, as a "cost-saving" move back when Huberman was still president of the CTA, although with all the other moves the CTA is currently making, doesn't look like they saved much.
