Busjack Posted July 18 Author Report Share Posted July 18 Tribune column: to the effect that the fiscal cliff is not quite as bad, because the state extended the sales tax on out-of-state purchases to include local sales taxes, including those for the RTA. No wonder "your chief financial officer" reports that sales tax receipts exceed budget. Update: Rich Miller column with more elaboration.
