There's no shortage of parking lots with shops in that area. ... What's this have to do with Lincolnwood? CTA built a terminal at Ford City, so it probably wasn't relying on the food court for a restroom. Quote

Tcmetro Posted June 14 Report Posted June 14 I've noticed several 82 trips show up and disappear on the tracker at McCormick and Devon today... Quote
jajuan Posted June 27 Report Posted June 27 Looks like demolition and construction at Lincolnwood Town Center is progressing along further. CTA has upcoming customer alerts on the website mentioning that starting Monday, the 82 will have its terminal moved a bit west from the mall entrance to the southwest corner of the mall in front of the Kohl's and that the 96 won't pull into the mall but will instead remain on McCormick Blvd between Touhy and Pratt. Both notices are classified as temporary bus stop changes. Quote

Tcmetro Posted June 27 Report Posted June 27 Kohl's and Old Navy are coming down too. I believe they still have a few months on the lease. I guess there's a little bit of time to figure out where move the terminal for the 82 and 210. Quote

Both notices are classified as temporary bus stop changes. I saw they installed a bus stop for the 82 at the SE corner of Touhy/Town Center Drive. Guessing the 82 will be laying over before heading back south on McCormick? At the least it gives riders a connection again to Pace 290. Additional the 96 schedule was update to reflect the “temporary reroute”… which we know is not gonna be temporary 😅 https://www.transitchicago.com/assets/1/6/bus-tt_96.pdf Quote

Village of Lincolnwood site says that demolition of the Harlem Furniture-RoomPlace building started June 25, which corresponds to the CTA notice, more or less. Quote
