sw4400
The cbs2chicago.com story talking about Montrose and Addison Brown Line stations closing on December 2nd says that the Lincoln name and route will be modified as of December 17th. Anyone know how this will affect the Lincoln route?
Busjack
See the posts indicated here. It was on the CTA website in the Press Release of 10/18.
MetroShadow
I wouldn't be suprised if more people use the bus once the stations are closed...although I would see the route be implemented before they close down Addison and Montrose. The route, the way I see it, would probably be operated more frequently when the the mess begins on the NSM as well as the Ravenswood station closures [south of Damen]. trainman8119
It more than likely would be implemented in conjunction with a run pick. Most changes in routes are implemented that way so that there are no union issues.
ArcherRider
I was riding the #37 Sedgwick and the automated announcement say the new #11 Lincoln/Sedgwaick route will begin January 2, 2007 not December 18 like the press release says.
