Probably due to a switch... I've seen 607x-609x on #9 occasionally.

Well Fg got #6186 - #6196 around 9/11 from 74th. Around 10/17 #6193 - #6196 went to Chicago, the rest remain at FG. Why? probably because FG has lost a few #6000's to retirement in the last few months. There's a void to fill.

However, as frequently noted in this forum, bus swapping is the rule, not the exception. At least physical sightings match the virtual ones. Guest
wow there really gone, did they put F's in the windshields yet? No, they still have the "6" in the windows so they must have just arrived. They may also have #6201, 6204, etc...
sw4400
I just checked a motherload of FG routes on the Bus Tracker, and no 6200's yet(closest one I saw is #6199 and I think I saw that one on #78). So one of the two is the reason for this... 1) The Buses need to be inspected for safety and mechanical needs before entering FG service 2) The Buses Tracker system isn't set for FG routes and need to be updated(until then, any 6200's out there are "Ghost Buses")
Guest
Spotted #6201 at JPK a little while ago.
sw4400
Spotted #6201 at JPK a little while ago. Well, this probably proves my theory of "Ghost Buses".

It's also on there now. #6201 was out on the #91 yesterday. Both were on Bustracker in the morning yesterday. I know #1997 is a ghost bus. It never appeared at 103rd (according to Bustracker) even though I saw it many times. Now it's not appearing at Chicago and the other day it was on the #65 again because I saw it there. BTW, I wonder what happened to the evens #1584 - #1598 from 103rd that were supposedly in route to 74th. They haven't showed yet. If they come over possibly FG could end up with buses up to around #6210.

When I had the Flxs and Nova on the 151 during their short stint at NP, they tracked perfectly fine. I believe the bus won't receive updates to its CD system unless it pulls into its home garage..but I am not the expert on that.

I'm assuming that 1580 & 1582 were all that could be spared at the time they were reassigned. I guess, owing to the continuing arrival of new equipment, North Park was able to spare nine: 1581-1597 (odds). Incidentally, for now at least, 74th still has 6205. (Not sure about '04. '03 is history).
