ajm522 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Check 1953, the bus has updated blue kneeling sticker. So it may be a mechanical rehab. It still has old lights. On #3 right now Quote
BusHunter Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 I looked at #1689 last week and it doesn't have the access panel and doesn't look rehabbed except for the blue kneeling sticker at the rear door. I probably need to take it off the list. Quote
garmon757 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Hey BusHunter, have you forgotten about me mentioning #1268 being mechanically rehabbed and #1266 only having the Clever Device upgrade????? :p Quote
jajuan Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Some pictures of recent rehabs. #1734, #1738 and #1204 cta 1734 on 94.PNG cta 1738 on the 94.PNG cta 1204 on 21.PNG These must have been weekend shots sense 74th has times when it runs no NFs on the 94 on weekdays. Or if they do it's only one at most a lot of times. Quote
garmon757 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 Rehabbed: #1055 #1803 #1864 Getting rehabbed: Unnoticeable because of the D-Pod/Station garage doors are closed. Awaiting for rehab or completion: #1048 #1282 #1833 Questionable for rehab preparation or out of service: #1195 #1218 #1240 #1989 Other notes: Rehabbed #1564 is out if service due to an undisclosed accident (left rear tail lights are smashed). #1468 doesn't have it's tail lights nor back bumper installed yet. Rehabbed #1457 had to get something fixed but why did they inserted the rear kneeling decal so low though? Notice how small it is also compared to the normal sized ones i.e. #1864. Quote
BusHunter Posted September 15, 2014 Author Report Posted September 15, 2014 #1034 is over here at bus and truck 33rd/Pulaski. Got a pretty good shot of #1079. I forgot to mention #1488 was on the #4 earlier. I won't probably see that one today. Quote

To me, it looks like either the Ashland Orange Line Terminal or at the 95th Red Line terminal (if it was there, I wonder why the bus sign displays "9" instead of "N9". Quote
ajm522 Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 1786 looks to be rehabbed on #36. Quote

jajuan Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 #1903 is rehabbed while on #36 (what the hell BusHunter)! Now do you believe me about the wheel odometer jajuan??? I never really doubted you. My point was the few CTA buses that still have odometers on the rear right wheel have had them painted over. 1903's up until recently was painted over as well apparently since I remember just within the last few weeks the face of it was a completely black circle with the reading not viewable.
