Just rode #1166 on #71 while heading home and it's fully rehabbed. It's just missing the updated no right turn plate.

There's like 6 or 7 mechanical rehab buses now on #79 and #87. BTW, #1673 is out on the #82, so no more unrehabbed buses at Kedzie. Last two systemwide that are totally unrehabbed are #1940 and #1482.

Both #1697 and #1556 are fully rehabbed. They were out on the #49. #1697 and #1556 have an updated exterior from when they had their mechanical rehabs. #1433 on the #82 is still mechanically rehabbed. Here's a shot of #1556.

I got some more rehabbed #1000's to report.

at Kedzie #1430 is still mechanically rehabbed, that makes #1430, #1433, and #1438 still mechanical. #1446 is rehabbed though (picture below)

#1446:

cta_1446_on_18.thumb.PNG.a8af2486ee8a21d

at 74th #1270 is rehabbed so 74th is the first completed #1000's rehab garage. (but they could use a few updated exteriors)

at 77th #1476 and #1560 are still mechanically rehabbed. #1480 is rehabbed though. (could use an exterior upgrade) I took a shot of it. (picture below)

I located some more rehabbed #1000's today.

At chicago #1066 is now fully rehabbed (picture below)

cta_1066_on_53.thumb.PNG.9de46460cef8ba0

at Kedzie #1091 is fully rehabbed

at 77th #1232 is fully rehabbed, #1292 is fully rehabbed, this one the paint looks pretty good, they could probably just update the stickers and put the rear plate on it and no one would be the wiser. #1541 is fully rehabbed this one the exterior's done also, #1246 is still mechanically rehabbed and I got to see #1569. The exterior is done on that one too. I got a shot of #1541 below.

A few more #1000 rehabs have surfaced

at Kedzie #1093 is fully rehabbed, but needs the exterior redone

#1093:

I took a shot of #1091:

cta_1091_on_35.thumb.PNG.d8378fd46e90b25

at 77th #1202 is rehabbed, but needs the exterior redone, #1226 and #1571 are both still mechanically rehabbed, so I have 5 more to check there and I'm done. I'll be mostly working on 103rd buses then. Everything else has been checked except #1883 and #1632 but #1632 just got released today from being oos, so I would expect that's it's rehabbed. I'm kind of surprised I went through the list this fast, but it has been really slow lately for #8100 releases.

#1883 was fully rehabbed on the #49B this evening. It already had the exterior done from it's mechanical rehab. So Np is down to one bus remaining. Now that I think of it, if #1632 is rehabbed and it probably is, that only leaves #1940 and #1684 left out of the last 400 buses with the spooky interior lights. I guess I'm going to have to cherish the artics lighting while it still has it.

I was noticing alot of cleaner/greener destination signs on the np buses. i hope they don't run those on the #6400's signs!!:P They may be greener if you look at the seats with a microscope. xD Looks like this will be the sign at the rahm press conference if he has one. Somehow I don't think it will be at fg though. I was thinking, remember Rahm said we would have all new buses in 2014, well it will be 2016 in 4 months and not a sign of a greener bus yet out here at fg. At least they still have that new flyer sign at jeff pk. (The one that i joke the riders will be saying what kind of bus is this) I was shocked it's still there. Here is a shot of #1850, my #1883 shot didn't come out.

A few more rehabbed buses to report

#1632 is rehabbed on the #82 and #1099 was rehabbed on the #2, both had the exteriors finished from the mechanical rehab they had before. #1616 on the #28 and #1563 on the #24 were both still mechanical rehabs. I left the loop and discovered they released #1076 on the #157, it's most likely rehabbed but I'll check it, it's been out of service for a few weeks at south shops. I had #807 pass me on the #130 and I thought since they were doing the lights on all the other 40 foot nf's they might be doing that one, but no dice. It is scheduled to get a light upgrade. It did get a new kneeling sticker at the rear door though. Here are pictures of #1632 and #1099

#1632:

#1076 was rehabbed on the #126 today, but it needs the exterior redone. I would have thought they would have done that at south shops, that bus was out for a while, 2-4 weeks.  I also saw #1277 roll by on the #22 and it looks to be still mechanically rehabbed. I was shocked on the #4, #1246 is rehabbed now and I just saw that bus a few days ago mechanically rehabbed. I had to take about 3 looks at it as i couldn't believe what I was seeing. I noticed they repainted it just by the right rear side number decal but that's it, the rest of the exterior has not been updated and needs an upgrade.

I wonder of those two buses were buses 77th swiped from FG? Hmmm, I wonder if the 1000s rehabs will be completed at about the same time as the complete delivery of the 8100's.

No because the #8100's have the last 23 buses on delayed manufacture status. Yes, fg once had both buses. The remaining #1000's, all except one are easy to fix because they just have to replace the lights in them. There's a good chance they could be done soon, I sense a rahm press conference coming with the kids going back to school it's perfect politically to have a completion for them. If they are not done they could always garage a few buses. 77th seems to be going in surplus mode anyway. Don't know about 103rd though.

You can add #1531 as fully rehabbed on the #29 with a new paint job and exterior. But the destination sign wasn't working.

Awww not the signs again!!! Speaking of signs, #1557 front sign has been fixed after months of it's sign shading out the route number but only show mostly the route name. Also, #1527 front sign needs to be checked to see if it was fixed because of the same problem. If #1938 isn't on the rehab list then it's rehabbed. #1725 and #1839 were updated via maintenance. #1175 and #1950 are at the shop. #1600 is now OOS after a freak accident on the south side last night via #34. By the way, I was on #1147 yesterday and I only saw 2 front AMSECO Insight seats on the right side of the bus. The 3 front seats on the left are 6468s.
