NB 4:20a-1:50p Sb 1:14p-9:20p The additional hours consist of 15 min headways outside of the peak rush with rush hour headways of 9-10 min. So the 26 has a bidirectional element in that small way at least for those looking for the route to eventually be a fully bidirectional route. The expanded hours should be nothing more than doing that same set up for a few more hours. Looks like both my hypotheses about this weekends bus movements are being confirmed. 103rd didn't need more buses to run the expanded #26. This route and others appear to be operating fine even though 103rd lost 12 buses.
