Highland Park: Since those I indicated in bold under contingency fleet are all but one of HP's former fleet (2639 not reflected) and HP has run only 2600s on Ravinia service the past couple of years, that must be the contingency. 2651-2659: That's all that used to be at NS. Given that, I don't see Metzger's comment that NS is also crowded, nor all the 208/250/Pulse deadheads on Golf. Quote

Notwithstanding 2826, 2827-2829 have all been absent in recent weeks. No sign of 2828 in months. It's possible they could all be retired. We'll know if we start seeing other buses from other garages move there. Quote
Adam Hubbard Posted July 21 Report Posted July 21 These buses will last until the 2030s and receive a rebuild rather than getting replacements for those 2600s by Pace. 1 Quote

Again, you proved that you don't know, and you didn't read Pace's electrification plan, nor understood Pace's recent order of 24 35' Gillig hybrids. Besides that, you missed that probably a majority of the 2600s were sold to a scrapper when Pace dropped feeder routes. Why pollute the Internet with your misinformation Adam? Quote
Erin Mishkin Jr. Posted July 22 Report Posted July 22 2691 still exists and is still in use as a training bus Quote

Although I saw an unwrapped bus in Niles a couple of months back, it appears that the tracker is short and any replacement buses are not on it. Is that the case? Quote
Erin Mishkin Jr. Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 The West Division E-Z riders do not have fareboxes, money collection boxes, or Ventra readers. I finally found 2636 today on the 309. 1 Quote

On the other hand, if they are in revenue service, there must be some 6323s in real bad shape. Quote

They still run 6374 even though that bus is no good amazes me, they failed to fix the Trapeze plus I saw it today. Including 6374 there were 40 of 53 Eldorados assigned to West Division that have ran in the month of September. For Xcelsiors, only 7 out of 85 (with 20459 retired and 20472 in an accident, totals to 5/83) Xcelsiors did not run in the month of September. So West Division has about 118 buses right now active not including the E-Z Riders. Quote

I had figured that the EZ Riders were being used as training buses. But if West gets low enough due to buses with maintenance issues combined with some quirks with pull outs and pull ins mixed with a driver shortage, that's a bad recipe . Although the shortage problem isn't as severe as before, it's still in existence Quote
