Will Pace not allow you to do it as part of the purchase agreement, or do you just want the bus without being reminded it was a Pace bus. I would think from a museum standpoint it would be benefecial to have as much originality associated with it, no matter what bus company it was associated with. Just curious !! Saw 8723 going Southbound on Cicero near Cermak yesterday along with a former Cummins bus 2615 (it was white with an orange horizontal stripe if anybody knows where it's from) and a former Dekalb fishbowl bus following it (could've been 1654, but wasn't paying attention to the number). Interestingly, its destination sign displayed Route 831 to Midway. Anybody have any idea where they might be from or where they could be going? Sorry I was driving so couldn't get pics. Sorry I was driving so couldn't get pics. 1654 was definitely a Huskie Line bus in the 1980s when it was owned by ATC. It was a 1976 GMC Fishbowl. I used to drive it. It was a good bus. Was 2615 a 30ft EZ Rider? If so, it may have been wrapped either for an advertisement or a Heritage livery. The $64,000 question is what happened to CHBM? Update: that's sort of answered here, but not completely. RTA 8006 was sent to IRM, but is not on its current roster.
