BusHunter
If you haven't noticed by now, there has been alot of swapping going on this weekend, mostly with 77th buses. Here's a few #6450 - #6458 are now at Archer again. #1312 is currently running the #20 according to Bustracker. I also spotted #1317 yesterday on the #20. Also 77th has gained some buses #1909 appears on Bustracker for the #79 right now, also #1907 was on yesterday's #6. Then also there are the new #1000's deliveries there. I spotted #1951 on I think the #4. It was making that familier turn at Mich/South Water with no passengers. Strangly enough with a #36 on the destination and no run box on at all. I thought at first it may have been out for a test, but it had a regular operator driving it as opposed to a mechanic. Back to the changes also #6711 - #6709 went back to Fg from Archer where they were lucky if they were there 2 weeks. Also #1432 appears now on the #11 on Bustracker. A chicago run? The only problem is that it was on the #36 yesterday as well. Lastly now 77th has a few #4000's now from 103rd.

I saw 1433 on #155 Devon this morning heading to school.
trainman8119
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. O yeah, fares went up January 1st. I guess they can afford to waste some money again !!!!! Gotta love that executive planning.
BusHunter
I agree that there is alot of swapping. I saw 1433 on #155 Devon this morning heading to school. That bus has always been at NP. Probably we will see alot of transfers from 77th in the coming weeks mostly Novas departing and NF's coming, to Trainman's delight.
jajuan
This explains why I spotted 4028 in service on the 6 this morning. Bustracker also shows 4024 and 4026 on this route today as well.

I could've sworn I saw it on a Chicago route a few weeks back, but maybe it wasn't it.
Busjack
There was also cta5555's post that they [Chicago] got 1309-1319 Also, greenstreet had the post that the odds in the 1430s except 1433 went to Chicago; 1433 stayed at NP, at least as of then. Any word on why 103 all the sudden had a surplus, or were there corresponding moves in?

So i think it went to Chicago as well.

Any word on why 103 all the sudden had a surplus, or were there corresponding moves in? Well they have been having a surplus ever since they had no TMC's to replace and they were receiving #4000's and #1000's. That's why the #1438 - #1462 evens exit from there. But this past week alot of NF #1000's are coming in rapidly. As far as I know we are up to #1955 now. That's at least 7 more surplus this week. If they really had problems with #4000's at 103rd why not check them out now at 77th. Most likely #1000's will keep coming in rapidly now until we reach #2029 in order to finish up by Feb 2009. BTW, both #1955 and #1953 were running back to back on the #2 yesterday #1953's sign said 77th Garage and #1955's was still saying that Chicago was my kind of town. Perhaps there was a shortage or need to put #1951 - 55 odds out in a hurry without setting up there signs. They just lost 20 buses to Archer and Chicago and with the #4000's coming in they still most likely needed the #1950's.
cta_44499_FG
Interestingly enough.......1036 and 6010 (yes, 6010) made their way to North Park yesterday afternoon. 6010 was in service pulling out to LSD via Foster. Not sure of the route. It was parked at the garage as of last nite.

cta5658
my guess is why #6030 was on the #36 because chicago ave might have done a fill in on the #
jajuan
my guess is why #6030 was on the #36 because chicago ave might have done a fill in on the #36 So are we saying Chicago acquired another bus from Kedzie? From last reports in the 6000s thread, 6030 was a Kedzie bus as of Dec. 22.

Perhaps now that is also present.

So, now NP is getting Flxs to replace 5800s? Or for some other reason? Although stranger things have happened. ;)
