jajuan
Purple Line Express trains are not express at all in the northbound direction for today's PM rush service. Trains are sharing tracks with northbound Red Line trains north of Sheridan and making all local Red Line stops from Sheridan to Howard due to a "track condition" situation at Sheridan. If the problem is at Sheridan, I don't see why Purple Line trains can't get back on the express tracks using one of the numerous interlockings that are north of the Wilson station. There's one in fact leading from the local tracks back to the express tracks just beyond the Berwyn station for example.

jajuan
I see that @sw4400 was up early enough to beat me to mention the the Pink and Green Lines being under a service disruption due to another clown spotted on the tracks. I heard about this while traveling to work this morning. They apparently spotted the guy walking the tracks between Morgan and Carpenter. The current status as 6 a.m. is still as listed above while police try and talk this guy off the tracks.

Busjack
Erin Ivory (formerly McElroy) is all over this one. Unfortunately someone here isn't, causing massive confusion on the south side. Sounds like another "medical emergency," i.e. now a person wedged between the tracks and platform. That's all you'll be getting from me. Update; WGN said CTA Tweet said it was a "signal problem," which also indicates that Twitter is archiving these.
