4000’s are getting replaced soon by XE60’s in the next couple yrs so i highly doubt they getting a rehab

Well with Nova pulling out the States, this speculation became partially more likely by way of dumb luck. Emphasis on partially given CTA seems imply the order won't be completely all artics and we don't yet know how many artics out of the equivalent 208 will actually be ordered.

4376 has new seat inserts. I think these are similar to what the newest Novas have? They’re comfy. A gentleman who boarded with me commented that he thought it was a new bus. It certainly smells new thanks to the seats.

i wonder what the pilot buses look like unless they talking about #4376 and #4399, also two buses were removed from the scope?……..my huge guess is 4323 and 4333?

should be (4) pilots……4301, 4351, and ofc 4376 and 4399

Just rode 4351 on the 22 and yes it has the new seat inserts. All of your related comments posted above answers my question of how long ago this happened.

now this confirms that 4301 also has new seat inserts and a rebuilt engine…….did 4351’s engine sound different?

No. Its engine sounded the same as before. The only notable and noticeable difference was the seat inserts.

All active D60LFR’s at North Park as of today are successfully rehabbed. The last non rehabbed ones have went out to rehab. 4358 and 4383 were the last two buses that have went to their overhaul.

not sure about 103rd but most of the ones I’ve seen recently are overhauled.

4341 sits on the south fence with a new drivers shield.

4359 has been active since August and  the bus tracker has not even been installed or repaired in that bus yet.

4336 and 4340 do not have working run number boxes.

From what i've seen for 103rd's DE60LFR's, 4304, 4312 and 4327 have the new seat inserts
