Good job Busjack! Now for the next 2 routes!

1) This route reguarly has 2 terminus', one NB, one SB. However, it can have up to 5, with one being on the midpoint/SB portion of the route at ???/Congress

2) This route serves 2 Blue Line, 1 Pink Line, 1 Brown Line and is within walking distance of 1 Green Line station, which also serves as a Chicago Attraction

3) 2 of this route's SB terminus' can provide transfers to the same east-west bus route

---

Think outside the box for this one!

1) This route serves the Chicago History Museum

2) This route directly serves exactly 6 CTA stations and is 0.2 miles walking distance from another (exactly) 3 CTA stations, 2 of which are on the same line

3) The full routing is 18.8 miles long one-way

4) Parts of this route cover a discontinued "X" route

The first one is right Garmon! However, guessing the 22 is incorrect for the second one, especially seeing as the 22 is 11.8 miles NB. A clue for all, the 22 does share something in common with the mystery route.

9, the trick being that only N9 goes to Clark and North (Chicago History Museum).

36 would have qualified the same as 22, except 36 is probably a bit shorter.

The "full routing" clue gets back to when someone asked here what was the longest route to ride on a holiday. The assumption was Western, but the longest route was Ashland.

1) The former EB terminus of this route shares a name with a Metra station

2) This route borders a CTA rail line for 8.3 miles of its route

3) A few odd trips on this route will start at Pulaski/??? and end at a CTA station located south of a high school

Well, since it seems no one has solved it, the answer is the #21 Cermak. The rail line it borders is the pink line and the #21 used to end at McCormick Place, which is also a Metra station. Now for three new routes!

----

1) This route directly serves 2 universities and is 1 mile walking distance from another

2) This route is roughly 13 miles in both directions

3) This route has 2 destination headsigns for both the SB and NB directions

---

1) This route is 8.8 miles long NB

2) This route is dedicated to a major Chicago attraction

----

1) This route is an express route

2) While a street is part of this route's name, it does not specifically serve that street

3) Only the 1st mile of this route is express due to it making limited stops

My guess for the 1st clue would be the 146 Inner Drive Michigan Express, The 2nd would be the 10 Museum of Science and Industry, and the 3rd which comes to mind is the 28 Stony Island which does run express for a mile from 103rd St Garage to 95th.

,,,

I dismissed this, as I don't get how "This route borders a CTA rail line for 8.3 miles of its route." The parallel Pink Line segment runs from about Paulina (1700) to 54th, which calculates as about 4.75 miles, basically confirmed by this Google Map. Compare to this map with the Pink Line route.

The last one is wrong, because 28 is on Stony Island, and the downtown trips run express between 47th and 11th. That is unless the questioner provided another incorrect clue. Only routes with express in their names that aren't that express are named after neighborhoods, like 100 Jeffery Manor Express or the downtown express routes (120, 121, 125). Buses are not making limited stops on LSD.

... Busjack, you were also right for the guess of #100. ...

But then the clue was incorrect, because, as I pointed out, the route is not named after a street, but a neighborhood. Sort of like there isn't a street in Streeterville, which was named after Cap Streeter.

That's kind of splitting lines/semantics, since I was going by the fact that the #100 had Jeffery in its' name. You are right, the full name of the route has the neighborhood, but it was apparently enough to make that connection.

----

1) This route borders Metra SWS for 1.8 miles of its route

2) In total, this route crosses 3 different Metra services, but 4 sets of Metra tracks (or the freight companies who they belong to)

3) This is one of the shorter EW south side routes

----

1) A peak extention on this route was cut back semi-recently due to a lack of passenger demand

2) Without its deviation to serve the Red Line, this route is one of CTA's shortest, clocking in at 2.7 miles going EB, serving the Red Line makes it 3.7 miles EB
