I consider them the new Flxibles #6000s of the fleet with how much they rattle and shake interior wise. That suspension is bouncy as well with the front overhang being so far out as it is. The elder #1000s remind me of the MANs #4000s or even the #5300s. Just reliable all around. Yeah I was thinking of that too, they get bouncy a bit making the ride a bit more fun. In some aspects I’ll say it is better than the ones on the #7900’s.

Same thing with the #4400’s, #5300’s & #5800’s, two to three buses could of been used for the heritage for special event purposes. My creative imagination on how things should of went. CPD should of had 2 more #5300’s while CFD had two more #6000’s. Perhaps there should still be a few on 106th.

Well CPD had #5678 and once had one of the #4900's RTSs, I believe that died years prior. I know #5678 was sent back to SS due to a seized engine which remains in the boneyard as of today. CFD also had another #6000 and two #5800's I believe, but sadly those have all died so that leaves #6163 the only one behind.

I think SS still has the TMC in the boneyard dead that CPD once used. I’m also sure that the one CFD formally had should pretty much still be back there dead as well.
