ajm522
Both 1088 and 1289 are mechanically rehabbed. They both have the cut out in the holder area and they both have updated clever devices.
BusHunter
Strange none of these mechanical rehabs have had the lights installed yet. It will be interesting to see what if anything happened with #1579. Btw, I was going to check out #1625 on the #60 as being rehsbbed but it was pulled in before I got to it. Kedzie been rehabbing almost all the #1600's they have. #1617's mechanically rehabbed. I don't think that one's on the list yet.

BusHunter
#1181's not rehabbed at all and #1569 is just a mechanical rehab.
BusHunter
#1120 is rehabbed on the #9. The whole Ashland/Cortland intersection is blocked due to a stuck semi under the viaduct. The sb's were detouring ashland elston north over the regular route. Nb's were going to Cortland I don't know they might have been getting through on a single lane nb but 3/4 of ashland is blocked across ashland from the west to the east. There's a 25 minute gap in service on the south side but #1120 was driving his butt off. His follower was at lake and he was already at the orange line. Unfortunately his follower which was #1746 passed him so he had to make up that gap and pass him. He must have been 20 late.

That happened once when I was on the North Ave. route heading to the North/Clyborn station. It got rerouted via the expressway, Armitage, Elston and North Ave.

BusHunter
I keep wanting to check on #1435 for like three days now and it keeps escaping me. I think it might be rehabbed.
garmon757
I'm riding nearly fully rehabbed #1632 on #12 but they didn't replace the lights. It still have the old blue/purpleish hued fluorescent lightings. That's crazy!!!
BusHunter
I saw #1400 up close tonight. No wonder I'm seeing two different shades of light on that bus the rear light has the purpleish #1600 lighting and the rest is white couldn't tell if it was led or not. BusHunter
Finally caught up with #1625. It's rehabbed on the #21. So Kedzie has almost all the #1620's rehabbed now.
sw4400
Still see 1305, 1468 and 1482 remain off the list.... makes you wonder if CTA has decided to write them off rather than rehab them... 1482 has been pretty badly damaged since running into a building I believe a couple of years ago just sitting around at South Shops. I don't know the story of 1305 and 1468.

BusHunter
#1305 is officially retired. Why do say that? It can't come back? The rehab contract was for all buses, but only the lighting on the hybrid #800's, #900's. There was even a seperate contract to fix one bus either that was #1305 or I thought that #1482

BusHunter
What about #1468??? probably being fixed in house, the damage didn't look that bad unless it has frame damage.
