Was working UPS one day and discovered #6381 pulling in on the #390. I was like whoa, how many of those do they have? Originally the subarbans came in to do the oakbrook service #888, #877. South got a little over half and river got the rest. When south got the CNGs they lost the suburbans. (#888 was last done by CNGs, I believe). Then they went to river but this was after dundee got the I-90 buses. A couple went to sw, but for a small time river had them all. I guess sw got a few more. 6381 was only briefly at River before going to SW in 7/2018. The others at SW are 6386-6388 which started new at River moving to SW in 10/2016 for the 856. When that route ended in 4/2019 they moved to NS before returning to SW by 12/2019. I believe they are still there. Of the rest 6377/8 were new to Heritage > NS 8/2015 > East Dundee 12/2016. 6379-85 were new to South moving to River in 6-7/2018 (6381 to SW in 7/18). 6386-6391 were new to River (6386-8 moved as above, 6389 > S 9/2016 > River 7/2018). (Some dates may be out by a few months!) Both the 877 and 888 were operated by CNGs after the suburbans moved to River in 2018.
Erin Mishkin Jr.
20421 was broke down on Grand avenue today it was on 307, was going to ride that but had to take 20484 instead. I wanted to ride a bus breaking down on video for so long but guess I missed my chance today.
