Adam Hubbard
Is the last of the 8700s, upcoming 8800-8949 going to be shipped to North Park, or will any of the South Side Garages will acquire it's last batches when this is all said and done? TBD at this point, SS has about 20 #8700s left to inspect and prep for revenue service. No 8800s have been delivered yet, the highest so far to be delivered is #8796. Good to see CTA finally sending out new Novas to NP.

Not necessarily all. Overall, CTA is keeping 400 of the 1000s in service. That's makes it unlikely that NP will get all those Novas, especially when 74th has to get past the roughly ten or so it's gotten so far. Seems likelier they'd get split somehow between 74th and NP. 17 hours ago, artthouwill said: At least for the time being, 8731 and 8732 are operating out of FG. There was never really doubt that NP was going to get something out of this bus order.

I took that into consideration when I said " For the time being" which indicates I recognize that at some point these two buses could very well wind up at NP, but currently are operating out of FG. Is just the other buses transitioned there but these rwo haven't. Yet.

Well it's an end to interesting Era to say the very least for the LFS in regards to CTA. The 6400s will always be my favorite series out of all.
