If you look further up the bus was painted all white when it was transferred to Chicago Fire Department and arrived in all white when delivered in May. The bus crew at IRM have done a wonderful job getting the bus this far by the IRM Bus Day yesterday.

No it was given to CFD, I’m surprised that it wasn’t heavily modified like the two 5800s inside and out just stripped of its CTA livery

They’re not done yet, they still have to install the grey on the rocker panels and the red to the front perhaps after bus day, as @YoungBusLover mentioned credits to him

This was never converted into a work bus. This was a CFD training bus.

Just for that, we will leave the livery as is and mimic the Pace lease look from the 700 series GM fishbowls!
